Conservation

Through Conservation projects, Wiyanga aims to benefit the environment through:

• Environmental/Ecological (fauna counts/site assessments)
• Government consulting engagements aimed at producing a better future for the Australian environment

Our projects include:

	Ongoing Pro-bono management of land in Tasmania  - Chris Lloyd
	July 2009-current  As Vice President and an active member of SOSSA (Southern Ocean Seabird Study Association), Chris Lloyd participates in several pelagic banding trips per year, as well as being the key spokesperson for SOSSA negotiations with the NSW DECW regarding scientific licencing; island research etc.
