At Wiyanga, we contribute to projects in areas of Conservation, Education and Community.
Through Conservation projects, we aim to benefit the environment through:
- Environmental/Ecological (fauna counts/site assessments)
- Government consulting engagements aimed at producing a better future for the Australian environment
Our Education capability includes:
- An Education/Training program, lead by Chris Lloyd targeting all parts of our community to incease awareness and understanding of native birds and our environment (click here to see our training schedule) (click here for our course descriptions)
- Consulting engagements in the labour market economic / industry skill requirements area
Our Community projects focus on Environmental Conservation; Indigenous Communities; Health and Disability and:
- assist community and non-profit organisations achieve their goals through better management, governance, finances, fundraising, marketing, and events.
- engage in community economic development consulting engagements
- facilitate community and other stakeholder meetings and conferences
